For the past 5 years, Michelle has dedicated countless gifts of time and resources to EAKC’s afterschool programs and events. She has also worked as a copy editor for CNN.com since moving to the city.

Kids Club hosts Easter Egg Hunt in the park on April 16
Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 16!
Kids should arrive at 10:30, and the hunt starts at 11:00 am.

Joshua Moore and George Smith
East Atlanta Kids Club would like to recognize a very special Friendship Connection relationship between Joshua Moore, currently a senior at Morehouse College and George Smith, a senior at McNair High School. Josh has been George’s Friendship Connection mentor since July 2009.

India Allen
India Allen is completing her senior year at Benjamin E. Mayes High School’s Academy of Math and Science. India is in the top 5% of her class with a 3.75 GPA. When she’s not excelling academically, India is heavily involved in her extra-curricular activities. She’s been a member of the swim team for 2 years, swimming the 100 and 400 freestyle.

Jeff Scott – C-level Companies
I don't have children of my own and hadn't known a whole lot of kids, so when I met the Kids Club kids, I pretty much treated them like everybody else I know. That seemed to work, except maybe when they wouldn't fasten their seat belts or turn down the radio.

Kids complete third triathlon!

Atlanta Streets Alive!
Edgewood Avenue downtown will be closed to traffic and alive with cycling, frisbees, hula hoops, martial arts demos and all kinds of cool activities on Sunday, October 17, from 1pm to 6pm. Kids Club will be at Atlanta Streets Alive – come join the fun!
