Kids Club Has Lost A Beloved Friend

On September 21, 2009 Kids Club lost a great friend and a beloved youth mentor.  Thomas Peake, the husband of our program director, Dena Peake, passed away from a fall on the Grand Canyon National Park Lava Falls Trail during a solo hike.  We – adults and youth alike – sadly no longer have Thomas to laugh and play with, and to learn from, but we do have vivid and wonderful memories of him to cherish.  Some of those memories and photos of Thomas are already being shared online . The Memorial Celebration for Thomas Peake will be celebrated at the Trolley Barn in Inman Park, 963 Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta, from 6pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, September 29. We will miss you, dear friend.
