Would you like to rent Brownwood Recreation Center for your next party, class or event?
The center is available to rent for individuals and groups. Rental rates vary from $30 to $75 per hour, according to the size of your group and where you live. Reservations should be made at least 10 days in advance….

Eleven Kids Club members ran, biked and swam their way to medals and glory in the Florida Kids Triathlon in Panama City Florida last week.

NEW FALL SCHEDULE

The programming schedule at East Atlanta Kids Club has changed, effective August 31, 2010. Kids Club (grades 2-8) will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Teen Club/Project Senior (grades 9-12) will be on Wednesdays. The Atlanta Backyard Poultry Meetup Group is handing out 1,000 baby chickens this Saturday and also collecting donations for charity. The “Chicks for Charity” event will be held at the Decatur Farmer’s Market, 498 N. McDonough Street in Decatur, on Saturday, August 28, from 9am to noon. On June 11, 2010, East Atlanta Kids Club was proud to host Deloitte’s 2010 IMPACT Day for the second consecutive year. Nearly 40 Atlanta-based Deloitte consultants took a day off from their regular workday to make some much needed improvements to Brownwood Recreation Center and parts of the park just in time for summer Kids Club activities.

East Atlanta Kids Club was honored to receive Mayor-Elect Kasim Reed at our annual holiday luncheon at Brownwood Recreation Center last Saturday. On Dec. 12, Mr. Reed took a tour of the center and got to know many of the youth in our after-school program, as well as their family members and volunteers who were on hand.
