Riding the uptick of urban gardening sweeping through Atlanta and the nation, youth in the East Atlanta Kids Club are learning about gardening and healthy eating through hands-on activities in the Brownwood Park Community Garden.  Located just south of Glenwood Avenue near Moreland Avenue, Brownwood Park…

Here is a list of some of the high-priority needs — things and services — for Brownwood Recreation Center, which Kids Club is now managing. Let us know if you can supply any item on the list!

Would you like to rent Brownwood Recreation Center for your next party, class or event?
The center is available to rent for individuals and groups. Rental rates vary from $30 to $75 per hour, according to the size of your group and where you live. Reservations should be made at least 10 days in advance….
