Event History

Promoting health and fitness in our daily lives.

The East Atlanta Kids Club launched the Brownwood Bike Rally in 2003 to promote youth fitness and community development through a fun biking event that would engage cycling enthusiasts of all ages. The bike rally also serves as EAKC’s biggest annual fundraising event.

Each year the event grows, drawing more youth and adult participants, who compete in bike races, bike agility and safety activities, and other fun fitness challenges in and around Brownwood Park in East Atlanta. The festival aspect of the event has grown each year, and now includes a health and fitness fair, games and crafts for kids, and a tasty food zone.

The Brownwood Bike Rally remains free for all kids each year, with the help of more than 150 volunteers, and the support of several local cycling and fitness clubs, and other generous event sponsors.

Cbeyond broadened its support of Kids Club this fall to benefit Brownwood

Park and the entire community.

U.S. Micro Corporation has been a great friend to Kids Club for the past

three years, providing us with computer and networking equipment, financial support and most recently, the gift of a much-needed school bus.
