Project Senior

Helping Our High School Students Reach Their Post-Secondary Goals. In June 2010 EAKC launched Project Senior, a program that provides resources for our high school juniors and seniors to help them accomplish their post-secondary goals. Our goal is for our students, upon graduation, to have future plans to attend academies, universities, colleges, seminaries, institutes of technology and certain other collegiate-level institutions, such as vocational schools, trade schools, and career colleges, that award academic degrees or professional certifications. We will accomplish this by pairing each student with a committed volunteer for the duration of a year (or up until they graduate if not yet a senior), who will support them through the process. Each of our high school students is highly capable of achieving their post-secondary goals and lifelong dreams; Kids Club seeks to be an added support and resource to help our students reach the moon and beyond.

What makes our program unique?

Our program combines the close guidance of one-on-one mentors, who commit a year to seeing students through every step of the process, with the involvement of parents, cooperation of school counselors, and monitoring by EAKC staff.
